  Overview

 

DADANCO Active Chilled Beams (ACB) incorporate DADANCO high performance nozzles, improved internal arrangement of elements and passive noise control to produce superior air conditioning and humidity control.

DADANCO Active Chilled Beams use primary air to induce secondary room air through cooling coils within the beam, greatly increasing the output and efficiency of chilled beam systems.
DADANCO Active Chilled beams can achieve cooling loads in excess of 500 Watts/lineal metre. With a 3-metre pitch, cooling loads from 25 W/m2 to250 W/m2 can be achieved.

Supply cooling, heating and outdoor air required for ventilation in conditioned areas.
Have compact dimensions and small duct sizes reducing ceiling space requirements. In new buildings, DADANCO Active Chilled Beams reduce the overall slab-to-slab height permitting, typically, one additional floor for every twelve floors to be built, when compared with conventional air conditioning systems.
Dramatically reduce fan power consumption, requiring distribution of only 25% of total air at low pressure.
Generate unique air-flow patterns that lead to superior air diffusion in the conditioned space.
Produce noise levels of NR28 suitable for office, audio visual conference rooms and other similar spaces.
Are highly efficient - DADANCO Active Chilled Beams deliver more cooling capacity per unit of discharged primary air than any other air conditioning system.
